Dr Katy Stevens
Clinical Psychologist, Co-Founder and Director of Three Minds Psychology
I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience working across both the NHS and private sector. I specialise in the assessment of ADHD and autism in adults, taking a compassion focused and neuroaffirmative approach. I prioritise creating a person centered, supportive environment during assessments and aim to ensure that individuals feel understood, validated, and empowered throughout their journey. I also lead on the workplace wellbeing pathway, and am passionate about supporting individuals to flourish at work
I have a background in working with complex trauma and this has given me deep insight into how trauma, stress, and anxiety can shape people’s lives. Over the years, I’ve supported many individuals who felt trapped in an overactive, threat-focused mindset, helping them find ways to soothe and calm these aspects of their functioning.
I am trained in various therapeutic modalities including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
I am passionate about enhancing wellbeing in the workplace, striving to transform workplace cultures by embedding compassion at every level. I believe that workplaces have a profound impact on personal wellbeing, and that through compassionate leadership and cultivating positive workplace cultures we can create environments where individuals feel seen, supported, and able to flourish both professionally and personally. My goal is to bring conversations about mental health into the workplace, helping individuals and organisations to thrive together
